2) I found the following journal by searching sports topics on ebscohost. I chose the article because I felt that the results of my search contained extremely relevant information to my topic.
3) I felt that this journal article would be useful in my research because the search results yielded extremely relevant topics towards my research.
4) The following article seems to be made for a general audience and seems current and up to date. The scope seems to be for specific topics in the sports psychology field and does a good job of describing these topics.
5) To search for the journal article I searched using terms such as “coaching” and “sports”. To find information within the article I skimmed the page to find key terms that would be of help to me. I did not combine any terms in my search. My results included information on how coaches should train their players at practices and how to deal with them psychologically during games.
6) As a whole the journal includes information on coaching athletes in a variety of situations. This information is quite relevant to my research question. The article indeed helps my research in that it tells coaches how they should train and treat their athletes in a variety of ways.
7) I chose not to change my topic question because the research that I have conducted has shown that I can find adequate information that will suffice my question. My question will still remain- How can a coach effect an athlete on game day?
